Out of an abundance of caution, we are cancelling Christmas at West Side services for Thursday, December 22.
Of course, we’re bummed because we love Christmas and know many of you have been joyfully inviting friends and family to join us… tomorrow! However, with an unpredictable amount of snow, but certain frigid temps and high winds in the forecast for tomorrow afternoon, we want to play it safe.
The good news is that EVERYONE can still join us at one of SIX SERVICES on Friday, December 23 (at 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00pm) or Saturday, December 24 (at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00pm).
We need your help… spread the word!
If you’ve invited guests, would you please contact them directly and ask if they’ll join us on Friday or Saturday? Another way to help is to share our Facebook and Instagram posts. Perhaps someone you’ve not yet invited will see the post and decide to join us. Friday and Saturday will be great days at West Side if you help us spread the word!
We’ll be ready for you on Friday and Saturday!
Our team is working hard to ensure we have room for as many people as God sends our way on December 23 and 24. If you have a loved one who is concerned about the cold weather, consider dropping them off near the door. We’ll host a safe, accessible drop-off station at the circle drive, located on the south side of our building, near the baseball field. Here, our volunteers will be ready to help your loved ones inside the building while you park.
Trust us when we say… Christmas at West Side is going to be a blast! The worship and teaching will be high-impact. A life-size train will give rides in the concourse before and after services. Photo booths, free cocoa and delicious treats await you in the concourse. Please do all you can to rearrange your schedule to be with us this Friday and Saturday to celebrate our greatest hope in the best of ways.
Hope to see you soon!
The West Side Team
